In jazz, the term FLOW is used to refer to the fluidity and spontaneity in improvisation where musicians interact fluidly and cohesively to create music in real time. Also inspired by one of the first Selmer models from the 1950s, the Airflow, the predecessor to the Soloist, this highly flexible mouthpiece offered musicians a wide range of acoustic textures.
Thanks to his acoustic experience and cooperation with prestigious musicians, Henri SELMER Paris created a nozzle with a universal acoustic design, which is especially adapted to jazz and contemporary music (funk, pop, electro, world music). This nozzle is characterized by exceptional density, depth of grain and high activity of harmonic frequencies.
